    Question Writing a date

    How do you write a date properly in British English when you want to write what day it is too? (For example, when you are writing a journal and it's important for the reader to know it is Friday)
    I have seen a lot of different people using just about variation possible when writing a date, so now I don't know what's correct anymore.
