All I want to buy is (a) choice of apples

Write a new sentence similar in meaning to the original sentence. Use the prompted word.
I want to buy only those apples that have been carefully selected. (Choice)
'All I want to buy is (a) choice of apples.' Is it OK? Should I use an article?

No, I'm going to pass the CPE exam next year and I'm doing some extra tasks.

No article. Your sentence (without the article and without "of") is OK. I would rephrase it as: "I want to buy only choice apples". As an adjective referring to food, "choice" means "of very good quality".
