What does "Pull one off" mean?

Here is the dialogue, I wonder what "Pull one off" mean here? As per the context, it could mean "put on" but why "pull off" as it almost means "take off"

A: How do you look in a suit?
B: I can pull one off

In this context I consider "pull it off" more natural than "pull one off". In either case, however, the meaning is the same: I am able to wear a suit without looking ridiculous.

As an idiom it means "succeed against difficult odds." It also has a literal meaning.
