    Until and till

    Until my landlord fixes the plumbing, I'm not going to pay the rent.( OR I'm not going to pay the rent until my landlord fixes the plumbing.)


    Can we use "till" instead of "until" here?

    You can use either word interchangably. I can't think of a situation where you can't.

    Look at this claim:
    There is really only one usage that we can't use "till" there: In setting up a negative conditional! (In my example made before!)

    I'm not sure that this claim is correct. I agree with you that they are interchangeable!

    They are interchangeable for me apart from Till death do us part.
