    English teaching

Hello, I am Krassie Ivanova from Bulgaria.
I'd like to know if it is possible to work in a foreign country as a teacher in English. I have graduated a University in my country and am fully qualified but I haven't attended any courses abroad. I've been teaching English for 20 years at all levels.
Is there a correspondence course which I can start because I can afford any other?
    Best regards Krassie

    Re: English teaching

    Welcome, Krassie.

If you're considering teaching English in North American, your best bet would be to contact (e-mail) the Board of Education in the State or Province of your liking.

If you're interested in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in Asia or other non-European countries, you could check out the various on-line sites that offer TESL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) courses ($). It's a start . . .

    Best of Luck!

I would check the credentials of any online course very carefully first, though. There are some courses that will not be much use because no one recognises them.
