    In Someone's Will

Is this sentence, from a dictionary, not that well written?

    ( oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/provide?q=provide )
"Emma was handsomely provided for in Frank’s will."

    Would the following:

"Emma was handsomely provided for by Frank’s will."

    be a better rewrite?
