    What are the commonly used short forms for address?

    Please list down the common short forms used when writing postal address?

    Is "level" shortened to "lvl"?

    I would expect to see "Level" written in full as part of a postal address. In BrE, the most commonly abbreviated are:

    St = Street
    Rd = Road
    Ave = Avenue
    Flt = Flat (not particularly common)
    Flr = Floor (also not particularly common)

    I can think of a couple we don't abbreviate - "Crescent" and "Place".
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    In AmE, "apartment" is usually abbreviated as "apt" We also abbreviate "place" as "Pl" and boulevard as "Blvd".

    There are many more abbreviations here: https://www.usps.com/send/official-abbreviations.htm
