    "millions" or "millions of"

    Which form of usage of word "millions" is correct?
    a) They will pay 2 millions dollars.
    b) They will pay 2 millions of dollars.
    ?

    Neither is correct.

    'They will pay two million dollars.'

    Thanks for this answer but I have heard a few times on TV (BBC) expression with "millions of dollars". Are there any cases in which it is correct to use it that way?
    For example: "It will cost millions of dollars." ?

    That's fine. Putting a number before 'millions' is not.
