    Which preposition and explanation

    Study this example:I am sending my personal information (a CV for example) to be stored on/in the database for future reference mainly.Thus which preposition is correct?On, in, both or another one?

    I'd say 'in', but 'on' isn't wrong.

    Actually in preposition is nearer to my native language, but Greek thinking using English drives us to do mistakes such as word order, non suitable words etc....An example, I join the Army (correct) instead of I go to the Army (wrong - Greek thinking).
