Hi dear sir, I need to know some confusing simple present sentences which is being used for future which is as follows :
where do we find him,
what do we do now,
how do i get there, i want to know that, does the sentence "where do we find him" has the same meaning as in "where will we find him" or what, if it is in future sense then why it is written in simple present form.
What do we do now? = What can/should/shall we do now?
How do I get there? = What is the best way for me to get there?
Please see my corrections to your post in red. Please don't address your posts as if you are writing a formal letter. "Dear Sir" might be appropriate when you are writing to your male bank manager but it's not required here. It's overly formal and many of us are female.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
Thanks a lot emsr2d2, but would u please explain further why did they use the simple present tense there, is it for some particular situation and time? or can we use it anytime?
