you should probably be blaming you attention

    1. Does this "should" denote presumption or obligation?
    2. Why is present progressive used here?

30)Imagine that you are at a party, and your host introduces you to a man, then leaves the two of you to get acquainted. A friend approaches you and wants to be introduced. Can you remember the man's name so that you can introduce him to your friend? Probably not. If you have a terrible memory for names, then you should probably be blaming you attention rather than your memory....

This use fits "obligation/suggestion", not "presumption". The simple present could also be used there. The present progressive creates an image that something is happening at that moment. You are thinking "It's not that I forgot his name; I didn't pay attention to it." The word before "attention" should be "your".
