hand smth on a silver platter

    Hello.

I want to know what is more common:

    1. Hand smth on a silver platter.
    2. Give smth on a silver platter.
    3. Hand out smth on a silver platter. (As Barb_D said)

Probably, they mean the same thing, but I want to be sure.

    What would you use?

    Thanks in advance.
    Boris.
Please, correct all my mistakes. I should know English perfectly and if you show me my mistakes I will achieve my dream a little bit faster. A lot of thanks.

Not a teacher nor a native speaker.

The idiom is "on a silver platter". That means "without work or effort". The verb before that would depend on what the speaker/writer wants to say.

Please do not use "smth" in place of "something".
