You know, your Santa impression could use a little work.

    Hi,

I am reading a knock-knock joke from Reader Digest. Could you please tell me what the last punch line I highlighted in blue means? I think I understood each word, but not the sentence. Many thanks.

    Ho-ho who?

    Knock! Knock!

    Who’s there?
    Ho-ho.
    Ho-ho who?
You know, your Santa impression could use a little work.

Santa goes 'ho-ho-ho' — not 'ho-ho-who', so it's not a good impression of Santa.

Knock-knock jokes are rarely funny IMO.
