    saying dates and prepositions

    I'm 100% sure that the following sentences are correct:

    I was born in March. - month
    I was born on 5th of March. - day

    But what about:

    I was born on March 5th. (should I use 'in' instead of 'on'?)

    It happened

    on: Monday; 5 (th) March; March 5(th); Monday, 5 March; 5 March, 2011; Monday, 5 March, 2011;
    in: spring; spring, 2011; the spring of 2011; March; March, 2011; the morning;
    at: 2.30; half past two; dawn.
