    "Lumber"

    1. Sawmill is a factory in which logs are sawed into lumber by machine.
    2. A truck filled his mirror and lumbered past.

I looked for the meaning of lumber, however couldn't seem to visualize both sentences.
If lumer means moving slowly and awkwardly, then how should I interpret both sentences above? Help me please?

    Re: "Lumber"

In 1, 'lumber' is a noun meaning 'sawn timber', and is mainly used by Canadians.

In 2 'lumber' is a verb meaning 'move awkwardly'.

    Americans use "lumber," too.
