Hello again,

Can you tell me if the use of the present simple is correct here, please? Would it be better to use the present continuous (ie: he is working hard) or the present perfect continuous (he has been working hard)?

"His level has improved a lot since the beginning of last year. He works hard in order to reach the next level".

Thanks a lot for your help.

To me, all three tenses work well here in the context of a school report, with little difference in meaning.
