Please make the following in red clear for me.

Charging a premium for games on the iPhone seemed sensible, especially when those games compared favourably with titles on platforms like the Nintendo DS, whose customers were used to spending $20 or more on a single game.

In the above, does "titles" just mean "games," or "the names of games"? And what does "whose" refer to, titles or Nintendo DS?

"Titles" means "particular games"; "whose" refers to Nintendo DS.
