    Pics

    Is this word widely used for photos (pictures)? Do you personally use it? Could you give an example in a sentence?
    If I were a native speaker of English, I would never shut up. :-)

    It seems to be widely used in informal writing. I never use it.

    I use it occasionally when writing a very quick text message (although my texts usually include full capitalisation, punctuation and correctly spelt words). My flatmate is a photographer so I frequently text him after he's done a shoot and say "How are the pics looking?" or something similar. Mind you, he refers to them as "images", not pictures, photographs, pics or photos.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    I'm a photographer as well, so I know all about that.
    The word "shots" is also used in general. That's a nice shot!
    (way off topic, but I've always liked the service provided by some photographers:"headshots")
