    Revive and resuscitate

What is the nuanced difference between "revive" and "resuscitate"?

Please be aware that I'm neither a native English speaker nor a teacher.

    Re: Revive and resuscitate

You can revive someone from a faint by using smelling salts. You can't resuscitate someone that way. I would only use "resuscitate" when someone has been given mouth-to-mouth and CPR.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
