    "stand your chance"

    Hi everyone!

    I see people use "stand your chance..." many times (eg:stand your chance to win an iPod) ,can we use this pattern for other nouns (like "stand your luck"),thanks!!

    I wouldn't say 'stand your luck'. We do have expressions like 'stand your ground', which means to stick to your position or point of view when challenged by other people. Also, I would say 'stand a chance' rather than 'stand your chance'.
