"A sign of people being immature"

    Hi,

"Here is a sign of people (or people's) being immature: expect immediate reward after one contributes"

    Is this sentence natural?

    Thank you

Although the possessive (people's) is strictly correct here, most speakers would find the plain form more natural-sounding.

Some would argue that the plain form (it) is equally correct.

Well, it's certainly widely accepted. I wouldn't argue with that.

This question to panglossa is of no interest to anybody else here and would more properly be the subject of a private message.
