First, I would like to thank the people in this forum for all their help.
As far as I know the word "there" is used to introduce facts and information.
For example:
There are two words.
There is one car.
But I also notice the same word "there" is used this way:
My cellphone is there.
The desserts are there.
I'm a bit confused. Is "there" also used for things that are not close? or to show location?
