Question Where is the place for "would" ?

My teacher said, that in my sentence there is error: " If everyone would make at least a small contribution to the country, then this country will become strong and rich."
May be "would" inserted after If ?

Re: Where is the place for "would" ?

The 'will' in the second clause is the error. It should be 'would'.
