    already provided

I often hear this sentence "We already provided you with the documents on TV. Does one need to use present perfect tense with the word "already".

    Re: already provided

Most speakers of BrE would use the present perfect, have ... provided, with 'already'.

This AmE speaker would also use the present perfect.

Wow, I've never heard that sentence in my life! Is that a common way of providing documents in Hong Kong?
