    Watch and clock

    Is it common to say:

My watch is slower by 5 minutes or faster by 5 minutes?

    Re: Watch and clock

    No. It's common to say

'My watch is five minutes fast/slow.'

    EDIT:

When you posted this question you had already received a good reply here.

Why are you wasting the time of our members by asking the same thing again?
