    Post 'think so' vs 'should think so'

    Dear teachers

    Am I correct in assuming the main difference between 'I think so' and 'I should think so' is that second adds more emphasis with the 'should'.

    Not necessarily. It depends on the tone of voice, if spoken, and on the context if written.
