Are you aware that it is a bible verse rather than a modern invented idiom? Matthew 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.
Does seeing the whole piece help you understand the meaning at all?
Where did you see it in relation to the law?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

To be honest, I didn't understand it.Some of my friends are studying law. They 've heard it in a movie related to the law.

What is the movie and what is the exact quote?

The biblical quote means that it's easy to step onto the path to destruction (in life) because it has a (metaphorical) wide gate and it is a wide road. That is why many people choose that path. The path to being "good" is a narrower path with a smaller gate so it is more difficult to access that road. That is why fewer people take it.

I believe the context is talking about salvation.
