    Please check my sentence

    Hi,
    I would be grateful if you could advise if I should put “on" after “was" in the following sentence:

    "We confirm that your last working day with the Company was on 1 February 2014.”

    Please give your threads more relevant titles. Most of the learners could call their threads "Please check my sentence" but that doesn't help us differentiate between them. Your title should include all or some of the words you are querying. A good title for this thread would be "We confirm that your last working day".
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
