What does this sentence mean?

British Airways regret to announce the arrival of the flight BAO33 to London.

It makes no sense. Airlines usually "regret to announce the delay/cancellation" of a flight, not its arrival. Its arrival is a good thing. Are you sure you have heard/read/copied it correctly?

I agree with emsr. In addition, in AmE we would say "British Airways regrets...". It is one company.
