    Is there such a word?

Hello. Could you please kindly give me a piece of advice?
There is an expression, 'to wage a war'. Can I call a person involved in it a 'war-wager'?
I mean, is this word understandable for the English speakers?Does it exist at all?
Thank you in advance for all the answers!

    Welcome to the forums, Mykael.

The word that comes nearest to what you are looking for is warmonger. (Click on the underlined link and bookmark the site for future reference.)

Please note that a better title would have been War-wager?

    Extract from the Posting Guidelines:

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

There is no need to write a new post to say "Thank you". Just click on the Thank button on the bottom left-hand corner of any post.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
