1. Someday I want to sing in a famous band.
"I want to sing in a famous band" is in the simple present tense. Right?
But after adding the time expression "someday" is still simple present or the sentence change to future tense?
There are many who believe there is a future tense in English. It is formed by will/shall + verb. There are also other ways to discuss the future. "Someday" indicates a future plan or hope, but it does not create a verb tense.
