    verb after does/doesn't

I know that we need to use a plural verb after a singular noun. For example,

"My Laptop looks fantastic." But when we add does or doesn't it changes to the following format.

    "My Laptop doesn't look fantastic."

    what is the rule here?

We don't use a plural verb after a singular noun. "Looks" is third person singular. The plural form is "look".

The various forms of "do" (including doesn't) act as auxiliary verbs. They are followed by bare infinitives that are not inflected.
