Which are correct:
1-I will not be able to watch another bad movie for a few years.
2-I can't watch another bad movie for a few years.
3-I will not be able to bear watching another bad movie for a few years.
4-I can't bear watching another bad movie for a few years.
5-I will not be able to go back home for a few years.
6-I can't go back home for a few years.
I thin '5' and '6' are both correct, but there is a slight difference in their meanings. I can't really put my finger on it, but I think if one is in prison, one would use '6' and not '5'. In '5' one is really talking about the future. In '6' one is talking about a condition that exists in the present.
I think '1' is correct, but it seems to me that '2' also works.... But there is a difference and here '1' is better... Once again I can't put my finger on it.
'3' is correct but '4' sounds wrong to me. I cannot say why.
I am not at all sure that my analysis is correct.
I wouldn't use 4. 5 could be future, but it could also be a current restriction and similar to 6- if the person's in prison, they could use either.
