    Post Bent or Bend

    Please help me to correct the following sentence

    "The body of the female parasite showed a bent towards left."
    is it Bent or Bend more apt in the above sentence

    It should probably be 'bend'. But 'bent' could also makes sense.
    Could you defend the use of 'bent' using a dictionary?
