    Present Perfect + other tenses

    Which sentence is correct?

    I haven't called you for so long but I don't have any free time.
    I haven't called you for so long but I haven't had any free time.
    I haven't called you for so long but I didn't have any free time.

    I guess 2 is correct, 3 incorrect and I'm not so sure when it comes to 1.

    Not a teacher!

    I think none of the sentences make sense unless you change "but" to "because".

    Where did you find these examples?

    What if there was 'because' in all of them? Which would be correct?

    They are all possible with "because". I prefer the second one.
