    evolve into knowledge

    Hi,

Could anyone please tell me what does convey " evolve into knowledge"?

On the other hand, organizing the data and producing meaningful information that evolve into knowledge is one of the hardest challenges at the application layer.

    Thanks

These are technical terms in information technology. Knowledge arises from information, which arises from data.
Especially in artificial intelligence, it is easy to conceptualise a computer as taking in data and organising it into information. But can we say that a computer has knowledge? The idea that if you give a computer enough data (or information) that it will eventually become knowledgeable is expressed in this phrase of the "evolution from data to knowledge."
