    Neither am I./So am I.

"I am not interested in this."

I was under pressure and not sleeping for hours yesterday, so I replied to "I am not Ö" with "So am I."

Neither am I. Meaning you share the same feeling. If I said so am I, would you mark it incorrect. Can't you excuse so am I, please? Thanks.

Negative — 'I am not interested.' 'Neither am I.'

Positive — 'I am interested.' 'So am I.'

Donít we have an excuse to use a positive instead of negative when you make such a mistake, please?

Only insofar as we all make mistakes from time to time.
