    about free skate

In the free skating game, skaters show their skating skills including the "spinning". Can I say "He jumped up and spinned 3 rounds before he got back onto the ice"?

Can you please improve the whole expression? Thanks.

    not a teacher

"He jumped up and spinned 3 rounds before he got back onto the ice"

This is one way to rephrase it more naturally.
"He jumped up and spun around three times before landing back on the ice."

I believe that is called a "triple jump": 3 full revolutions (1080 degrees) while in the air.
