    as referred

Teacher, I saw this sentence in an article.

She saw Dr. Shee, as referred by Dr. Jiang.

Can I say "She saw Dr. Shee as Dr. Jiang has asked her to go."

"She saw Dr Shee after being referred by Dr Jiang."

That is a bit clumsy. How about "She saw Dr. Shee as Dr. Jiang had suggested."
