what's the common prep preceded the word "register"?

Could you please tell me that?
I have registered with the convention/ meeting. Is it okay?

    Thanks.

Re: what's the common prep preceded the word "register"?

Your title is badly worded. You mean What's the common preposition following the word 'register'?

In your sentence, 'for' would be better.

'The loss of his father didn't register with him for a long time.'

'The electrical current didn't register on the ammeter.'

'The child's birth was registered at the register office.'
