    Would it be possible to paraphrase the expression "value anchor" more easily?

    It's not a part of a sentence. It's an independent phrase from a diagram. So it's hard to provide the context.

    Maybe it holds your boat down, but doesn't have any of the fancy features of the more expensive anchors.
