a guide to help me familiarise myself with everyday English

    Hello again!

I would like to ask you where I can find a website to help me become acquainted with everyday English as used by ordinary British people. Is BBC learning English good enough for me to use? Just a few minutes ago I found this website on the Internet.
What is your opinion on that? Is this the kind of English one would expect to hear after arriving from his home country, as a non-native speaker of English.

Your help and guidance would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Please help me.

To help you help me, I would like to say that I mean colloquial English as used by all ordinary citizens of the UK.
