    prepositional phrase before

    Hi!

    "Luckily, I had already been given a lecture about similar content in the other English course, thus it was not that tough to understand."

    "Luckily, in the other English course I had already been given a lecture about ...."

    "Luckily, I had in the other English course already been given"

    For me the third one sounds most incorrect.

    I wouldn't use the third.
