return from the dead or death

It celebrates the return of Jesus from the dead.

I think it is a fixed expression. But grammatically speaking, can we say "the return of Jesus from death"?

    Thanks!

Re: return from the dead or death

I can't think of anything grammatically to stop us, but we don't use it.
