Which preposition is correct:
1. I want to go for a walk into the forest.
2. I want to go for a walk to the forest.

And the same problem:
3. Let's go to the forest. [to walk beetwen the trees]
4. Let's go into the forest. [to walk beetwen the trees]

If you go for a walk to the forest, you don't necessarily enter the forest. #1 is not natural, we would "walk in the forest". #3 and #4 are fine, but 3 doesn't have the meaning of walking between the trees.

How about "let's take/have a visit to the forest."? Is this natural?

No. You could say "Let's visit the forest".
