recommend (someone) to (verb)
I learned that the above form is used only in BrE and not in AmE.
("I recommend you to go" in BrE, and "I recommend you go" in AmE.)
Following this rule, I'm trying to convert the following sentence to AmE (and having trouble doing so.)
Which do you recommend the students to buy, A or B?
What would it be like in AmE?
