    Question yet another

    what does "yet another" mean?

I often hear it is contexts like:
This is yet another way to write ...

It can guess it means "this is another way", but why is that "yet" inserted?
What extra meaning does it give?

    Thank you.

    Re: yet another

    I am not a teacher.

The "yet" is used for emphasis.

There are already many ways to write, and this is yet another. One more on top of all the existing ones.
