    Welcome to the forums, Maki.

This is not a free proofreading service, let alone an urgent one.

I'm sure you can find an online service which will do what you require for a competitive fee.

Re: URGENT! Any native english speaker who can proofread my (very short) dissertation

People do ask us to proofread things. If they ask us to do it privately, they get the same answer you did. If they post the piece in question in the public forum, we decide whether or not to help based on whether or not it is homework.

As Rover said, we don't do private work via this forum. The only work we do for free is public. We also work to our timescales not other people's so words like "Urgent" make no difference whatsoever to how quickly we find time to look at someone's work.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
