    what does "minking" means?

    Please, help me. I'm having touble finding meaning for the word "minking", since i'm reading Neil Postman's "End of education" and I understand everything so far, but this word.

    The sentence in Postman's is as follows:

    Socrates meant when he said, "When the mind is minking, it is talking to itself.

    It should be 'thinking'.
