    dream role

    Is this sentence OK?

My dream job would be a temp job where I could cover one assignment for one to two weeks, take a break of a few days and then back to assignments.

I would say "take a few days off", although your option is also correct, IMO.

Why did you use "dream role" as a title to speak about a "dream job"?
Please be aware that I'm neither a native English speaker nor a teacher.

I'd add a verb toward the end: and then go back to
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

That was another one, I'd guess.
